First Spring

The scene in this pic only appears in movie? Well, guess which movie is this taken from? Picture of a few person lying on the ground just enjoying the sun... Hmmm, which movie was this taken from??

Let me reveal the movie: Tsemin's production (taken from my backyard)

LOL.... Well guys, this doesn't only appears in movie but in real life as well.. =) This will be my first spring in NZ and I am SOOOOO looking forward to it after a cold-warm winter.. Why cold-warm? >>> apparently this winter is the warmest winter Dunedin has over the years...

Anyway, spring is coming and it promises lots of outdoor fun and enjoyment for everyone here.. Hehe.. Time for sunglasses, singlets, sandals and lots of pictures!!

Welcome to spring in Dunedin! =)
Well, spring only starts on the 1st of September officially

Beautiful isn't it? Colourful picturesque scene which we actually have here.. Hehe.. some sneak peaks of spring here...

Well, seems like some plants are still 'botak' yet... In fact, most of them are still 'botak'... =P

Little flowers blooming on my front porch... Lotssss of them...

Really want to upload more pictures but seems like I can't... I'll upload some later then.. In the mean time, I'll just enjoy the beautiful sunshine!! =D

Have a good day mates!

A Call Back Home

It's been like ages since I last blog... This is (again) frustrating... -_-" (bla bla bla... Lots of talking and yet no action =P) Well, spare my ignorance... let it go... hehe...

Anyway, I've been a bad daughter and sister by not calling home often.. I think my last call home was about a month ago. Tsk tsk tsk... I know I know... Spill it... Bad daughter, forgetting the parents and all...

So I reloaded today and called back home... Luckily I called just at the right time.. =) It was about 20 minutes before 5 in Malaysia and mom had just finished her work for that day... hehe... It wasn't a really long call if compared to my other friends who call home so often.. but yea, don't compare right? =)

It's such a good feeling to call back home and listen to a familiar soothing voice when you are living away from home, especially in a cold country like NZ... The voice of my mom actually warm up my soul in this absolutely cold weather... I feel the warmth and the love from family just like how I felt when I was at home... oh, how I wish I am back home now... hehe... to be with my family and my delicious food! weeeee~~~~

Till then....

Help me please......

Oh man.. It's been like 3 weeks since I last post.. NO! I want this blog to survive! Don't die on me again... Haiz....

I've been so freaking busy the past few weeks and I don't like it... It's non stop working for me. OMG....... I have tonnes n tonnes of assignment to hand in and I've now finsihed and handed in 4... Just halfway through the process.. There's another 3 more assignments, 1 presentation and exam waiting for me.. These are all next week and the week after that... =(

Although it's going to be another 2 tough weeks, I am glad that I'm having a month of holiday after that! And this time, I'm going to Melbourne! Wee~~~ MELBOURNE, I'm COMING!!! WAIT FOR ME!!! =D

I'm seriously going to have lots n lots of fun after this... I don't mind spending a whole lot of money to buy things or enjoy as compensation for this few weeks of suffering.. Hahahaha... Anyway, that's just me saying that... We'll see if I really do that.. =P

School... Just 'a little bit more'...

I just finished my 3 days school observation in Silverstream Primary School situated in Mosgiel.. It's the brunettes and blondes I'm talking about... Blue, green and hazelnut colour eyes.... Black hair with brown or black eyes are rare. Perhaps I'm the only one...

I was kinda nervous and worried to teach the kids there... At age 7 and 8, they were way over my imagination. Intelligent, creative, obedient, reponsible are the words I would use to describe them... Hmm... Perhaps I should say colourful too... What a life, what a school life!

My primary school years... How would I describe them? Rigid learning, listen to teacher all the time, lots of caning and punishment which includes embarassing ourselves in front of others, table arrangements that only faces the teachers, homework homework and more homework, paper work, practising writng, reading, memorizing, timetables.....

Of course, there are also some others, the positive ones, the ones I liked about school... Getting to be at the top of the class, lots of friends, looking forward to recess when school starts, looking forward to school finishes after recess =P, play in the playground, being seniors, getting free dental check-up and treatment... Yeah, that's my school life.. My 'interesting' primary school years...

Silverstream, the school I went to for my school observation, offers something .... Nah, it's nothing.. They just have a bit more time for fun, a bit more care and love from teacher, a little different in terms of rewards and punishments, a little bit more use of praises in class, a little bit more high-tech than us, a little bit more choices for the children in everything, a little bit more interactive, a little bit more teaching aids for teachers, a little bit more activities for all the students, a little bit more materials for everyone, a little bit more fun, and a little bit more attention for them... Yeah, nothing too fancy but just that a little bit MORE than everything we have in our schools... =P

Let's have a look at the 'A LITTLE BIT MORE' things that I mentioned... =)

A little bit different teaching method....

A little bit more efficient use of space..

A little bit more excellent in working without teachers' supervision....

A little bit more expension on creativity in class

n a little bit more story telling in their teaching and learning process.... =)

Falling in Love

Wow! I stumbled across this picture in the internet and I really like this... This is the perfect imagery for the phrase 'falling in love'..

The girl is falling and she is unable to control or stop herself.

Then there's that shyness displayed on her..

Plus, she's falling into a love shaped shadow or hole which she might not be able to find her way out anymore...

Isn't this pic the perfect pic for that phrase? =D

Dream

Last night, before I go to bed, I made a pledge to God (something to do with money) and I felt great after that. I really hope that He would assist me with finding a good job next semester. However, I have no idea why, I had a bad dream last night... It woke me up at 4.30 in the morning and I really don't like that dream. So, this is how the dream went......

I was working with someone (I don't remember who but seems like I know that person). I think i parked my car (I'm not sure about the car part) in the parking in a building and I have to leave my bag somewhere up there with some security or someone. After work, I went back up there to retrieve my bag and my laptop, my phone and some other electronic stuff or valuables are gone. I was so worried and went to talk to my boss and demanded him to compensate me because I was working for him at that point of time and my things went missing. Of course, he would have refused to pay me back for the things I lost! Oh, I felt really BAD and stressed and that woke me up from the dream...

Gosh, is this some sign or some indication/ hint of something that is going to happen or does it have something to do with my pledge I made last night?? Hmm.. both are related to $$ though.... Hmm... I wonder what does that mean... Hmmmmmmm... Confused....

Ask me about it if this tickled ur curiousity or if you want to know more about it.. =D

Saying 'Hi' again..

Gosh, I created this blog sometime last year and I hadn't written anything after the first hi... pardon me for that. =P So, I guess this is it, my blog which I hope I can really KEEP ON writing... I had 2 before this and it never lasted.. gosh... shame on me.. geehehe..

Well, this is just to say hi to everyone.. if there's anyone who reads this.. hehe.. I guess I should record some of what I'm experiencing here -- in this foreign land which I'm staying now, NEW ZEALAND. Oh, just for the record, I LOVE this country!! =D
